Amy Gillett Foundation

Communication Link provided key stakeholder engagement and communications support to the Amy Gillett Foundation in the lead up to the Queensland Parliament’s vote on the Minimum Passing Distance Road Rule in 2016. 

Through strong stakeholder engagement, personal interactions with key decision makers within the Queensland Government by the Amy Gillett Foundation, the successful two-year trial of the Minimum Passing Distance Road Rule was extended and a significant re-boot of the ‘Stay Wider of the Rider‘ campaign was achieved.

The team at Communication Link supported this outcome through stakeholder engagement including development of briefs, liaison with Ministerial offices and key government policy-makers, collaboration with partner organisations and coordination of announcement media event.
