Communication Link supports Share The Dignity through attending fundraising events, supporting their regular campaigns and members of Communication Link team volunteer their time as ‘Sheroes’ for the organisation. Share the Dignity is a women’s charity that makes a real, on-the-ground difference to homeless women and victims of domestic violence. Share The Dignity collects thousands of pads, tampons and personal hygiene products every year for women experiencing homelessness and poverty. Small dignities make a big difference. They fund funerals for victims of domestic violence and campaign for justice for women in Australia.
Communication Link has worked with and supported Hands Across Canberra since it was created. We have had the privilege of seeing it grow and hearing the real-life stories of people the organisation has helped – from new mothers, victims of domestic violence or the homeless.
Hands Across Canberra is a non-profit foundation that helps local people support local charities. Communication Link is proud to be one of the sponsors of The Special Children’s Christmas Parties. The party has one simple goal: To put Smiles on these children’s faces for at least one day this year! The children invited are suffering from serious illnesses, physical or intellectual impairment, domestic violence, or living in underprivileged circumstances. The highlight for the invited children is the opportunity to select toys from Santa’s Toy Room. We have been proud to support this event for many years.
Communication Link is a proud grassroots supporter of the Murrumbateman Village Market. Members of the team provide in-kind communication, stallholder engagement and marketing services to the volunteer committee responsible for putting on the markets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.
Communication Link has recently worked with the Gundaroo Music Festival to undertake a strategic planning and revisioning exercise. The Gundaroo Music Festival is held annually and raises funds for Motor Neurone Disease. This year’s festival is being held on Saturday 26 October.
The Belconnen United Blue Devils are one of Canberra’s premier football clubs and their women’s team are reigning champions holding both the 2018 Women’s Federation Cup and winners of the 2018 WNPL Grand Final. Communication Link are proud sponsors of the club. Team members also volunteer their time on game day.
