North Coast Community Housing

North Coast Community Housing needed a website update the that highlighted their community values while being user-centred for team members and site visitors.

North Coast Community Housing provides outreach services to diverse members of the community. Their website is an important central point of information, access and truth for stakeholders that had become out of date, wieldy to use and update and not reflective or the organisations engagement values.

The website was at risk of not meeting regulatory requirements and behind-the-scenes website management was cumbersome for team members to maintain.

Communication Link designed and led a stakeholder discovery workshop to identify the website user groups, how the users related to North Coast Community Housing and what they needed when accessing the website.

Information gathered was used to guide the requirements for new website content, design and structure.

Through our involvement in the website redesign project we were able to position the organisation as a professional service delivery organisation across the spectrum of users - from community sector to housing developers.

Training and associated user guides were provided to staff to support the continued maintenance of the website.

The updated website now provides a platform for truth and relevant information, meets regulatory and accessibility requirements and contains imagery and visuals that reflected the organisation's image. It is easy to maintain and serves as a useful communication and engagement tool.
